Glamping at West Middlewick!

Situated in ‘Mary’s field’, we have two cosy little log-pods available for hire, perfect for a weekend away in the countryside without the need for a tent.

Each log pod has a double bed, as well as a 11′ long hammock – suitable for one or two small children. The log pods are both heated and well insulated and provide a perfect little snug in the countryside. These are simply cosy shelters, so other than a bed to sleep on, which is waiting for you when you get here, you need to bring everything else you might need with you. So that means bring your duvet or sleeping bag, pillows and a sheet.

  • Log pod for 2 people £50

  • Log pod for 2 people £60
  • Single occupancy £40
  • Each Child £4

When is high season this year?

The following dates are the high season for 2026 (all dates are inclusive):

  • 3rd to 20th April
  • 1st May to 4th May
  • 22nd to 31st May
  • 1st July to 1st September

There are 2 shower and toilet blocks. The nearest being about a hundred steps or so from the log pods in the camping field. Change is required to operate or ask Jo or John who will be able to help if you don't have the change!

Sorry - no dogs allowed in the log pods - but we do have a pet friendly log cabin

Each cosy little log pod has:

  • Views of Exmoor
  • Double bed
  • Small flatscreen TV
  • Small table
  • Covered porch - incase it rains(!)
  • Covered BBQ area shared between the 2 log pods
  • WiFi available - charges apply - please ask Jo or John for details

What you need to bring

Everything you would take camping, apart from the tent. The very basics would be:

  • duvet(s) or sleeping bags,
  • a double sheet; and
  • some pillows.
